Your health depends on your bodies Ph balance of between 7.35 and 7.45. This is a more alkaline state. Today's diet makes it easy to become more acidic, which can be detrimental to our health. Our bodies naturally avoid acidosis by buffering the extra acid by storing it in our fatty tissue. That is why, if your body is too acid it is not willing to let go of the fat. When your body is more alkaline it does not have to hold on to the fat as the essential function of neutralising the acid(to avoid an unhealthy state) is not necessary because their is no extra acid to neutralise.
