There is a 6 year gap between my mom and my dad. My mom quit smoking ages ago. Now it looks like my dad is 20 years older than my mom. He did quit about 2 years ago which I am happy about.
My mom's friend is about the same age. She continues  to smoke and now looks 10 years older than my mom.
